By examining all aspects of a product’s impact, from human health, to embodied carbon, to energy use, recyclability, and circular design, product manufacturers can design products to enable customers to reach net-zero goals, encourage wellbeing, and contribute to a circular, low-carbon economy. Join this session for a deep dive into how product manufacturers utilize sustainable product innovation to design products for the sustainable buildings of the future. During this session, a panel of industry-leading building product companies will examine the development of products with reduced life cycle impacts, utilizing tools such as sustainable product innovation, multi-attribute certification, life cycle assessment, and material ingredient analysis. This session will empower attendees to identify and understand how to use these tools to design more sustainable products that contribute to product stewardship goals and drive a more sustainable future.
