| Regulatory compliance does not necessarily ensure compliance with tort law and effective chemical hazard communication means going beyond regulatory compliance. This session examines both the overlap and important distinctions between regulatory compliance and tort law in authoring and updating labeling and SDS for hazardous chemicals. It also examines the regulatory and tort consequences of shortcomings in managing labeling and SDS data bases for hazardous chemicals.
