Welcome,

Drivers of Product Stewardship: The Role of Regulations, Private Governance, and Managing Stakeholder Expectations
Since the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) was significantly amended in 2016, EPA has worked tirelessly in implementing the new law and timely hitting all of Congress’ many deadlines required. During the closing session, two extraordinary thought leaders in the chemical space will explore the dynamic and fascinating intersection of regulation, product stewardship, private governance, sustainability, and managing stakeholder expectations. The conversation will cover a broad range of timely and relevant issues including how new TSCA is ensuring chemicals are used safely and managed prudently, what product manufacturers can do to work collaboratively with the retail community, what chemical producers should be looking for from EPA on the new chemicals front, and what retailers look for in products to ensure sustainability.
