| Product hazard assessments are critical in today's marketplace. While contributing to long-term cost savings, they have become an integral part of many companies.During this webinar, the panel will provide a background introduction to hazard assessment for chemical and non-chemical hazards and connect the approaches to the tools and methods presented in Professional Practices of Product Stewardship.
The webinar will incorporate two role-playing case studies in which the panelists present and discuss hazard types and assessment approaches for three different types of products “in development.” The first case study will involve planning the hazard assessments for the products. The second case study will involve discussions of testing options and approaches. This will cover the agencies and organizations with testing standards, approaches to testing for physical hazards, and alternatives to animal testing for evaluating chemical hazards.
