| While the EPA has long used Significant New Use Rules (SNURs) as a risk management tool, the changes implemented because of the 'New TSCA' have led to a significant increase in their use. SNURs impose legal requirements on a given substance's manufacturers, importers, processors, and users, which in tern impact business operations. In short, compliance is complex.
