| Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) and Health Product Declarations (HPD) are increasingly being used to disclose environmental and health hazard information about products, and to demonstrate the declarer’s commitment to sustainability and transparency. Whether used as a business-to-business or business-to-consumer declaration, the preparation and dissemination of these declarations have distinct legal, commercial, and transactional implications that need to be observed consistently. This presentation will address what these declarations are, and why they are legally and commercially relevant, and tips for preparing useful and legally defensible declarations.
